Educational Philosophy

Shiloh University’s educational philosophy is based on the understanding that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, timeless and universal in its authority and application. Therefore, the University’s curriculum is designed to provide a biblically-founded Christian perspective and worldview.

Shiloh University students come from various age groups, countries, backgrounds, and experiences. Our educational paradigm is to strive to facilitate success and a positive experience for every student. We want students in our programs to experience an atmosphere that imparts knowledge, value, appreciation, and love of the Truth; therefore, it is our desire to make Shiloh University courses available to all who are willing and able to participate.

In addition to scholarship, Shiloh University recognizes the role of service and mentoring relationships in the lives of its students. The online curriculum allows students to continue in these relationships while earning their degree. Additionally, the University recognizes and encourages the student’s relationship with the Holy Spirit. Christ stated in John 16:13, “But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth.”
