Application Process

Note: You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 8 or higher recommended) to open and fill out the application form.

Instructions:

Before applying, we recommend the following steps to confirm that Shiloh University is a good fit for you:

  1. Review the Degrees & Programs and Admissions Information in the University Website/Catalog. 
  2. Review the Technical Requirements for using the Shiloh University online classroom. 
  3. Review the About Us section of the University Website/Catalog, including the Statement of Faith and Accreditation Statement. 

Note: At this time degree programs are available only to members of the Living Word Fellowship and affiliated churches. We plan to expand the availability of these programs in the near future.

To begin the admissions application process, follow these steps:

  1. We recommend that you start this process at least one month prior to the admissions deadline.  All the documents required for your program must be received by the Shiloh University Admissions Office by the deadline in order to be considered for the upcoming term.
  2. Complete the Application Form for Degree Program Admissions  or for Personal Enrichment Admissions. Specific instructions are included within each form.  
  3. For degree students, the forms below are also required:
    1. Mentor form
    2. Recommendation forms  (3)
  4. Mail your signed original application and other forms to: Admissions, Shiloh University, 100 Shiloh Drive, Kalona, IA 52247. 

If applicable send, or have sent, additional materials to: Admissions, Shiloh University, 100 Shiloh Drive, Kalona, IA 52247.

Next Steps: 

  1. Prospective students will receive feedback on their admittance status.
  2. Once admitted, students will receive a login and password for the Shiloh University Classroom website. This will allow the student to view the resources available to them. 
  3. An orientation will be provided by the Student Services Advisor.
  4. At that point, the student will be able to register for courses for the upcoming term. (See Registration Process).
